When I got Maggie she was about 8 weeks old and Wabash Valley Animal Hospital was the place I was referred to for a free wellness check. I was lucky enough to get assigned to Dr Busenbark! Because of the COVID-19 Pandimic the vet tech comes out to your car to get your pet and then your veterinarian calls you and discusses any problems or issues your pet has. This not only showed me that this practice cared about my pet but about me! Maggie has had several issues in just the four months of her life. Dr Busenbark took the time to explain the problems in layman’s terms so I could understand and we could come up with a plan to tackle each issue. Additionally, he wrote a letter explaining how her knee had to be operated on to be functional as she go older to the place where we purchased Margaret so we could be reimbursed for a $1,400 surgery. He also got them to cover an elongated pallet. He is exceptional, well spoken, articulate and a pleasure to have as my dogs veterinarian! I look forward to the day where we can meet face-to-face. He’s worthy of this award and recognition!
